The ab=D1=95tra=D1=81t of the =D1=80=D0=B0=D1=80er: Von der historischen Fr=
auenbewegung bis zur
gegenw=C3=A4rtigen queer-feministischen Bewegung haben Feministinnen ihre
Anliegen in selbstpublizierten, oft handgemachten Zeitschriften, Pamphleten

Kritik =C3=BCben. Insbesondere in der =E2=80=9ERiot Grrrl Bewegung=E2=80=9C=
 ist eine Vielzahl an
Zines entstanden. Ein Teil davon fand Eingang in die =E2=80=9EGrrrl Zine Sa=
mmlung=E2=80=9C
an der Universit=C3=A4t Salzburg. In diesem Beitrag lege ich dar, was sogen=
annte
=E2=80=9EGrrrl Zines=E2=80=9C sind, warum wir sie sammeln sollten und welch=
e Archive und
Bibliotheken dies bereits tun.
sollten.;From the historic women=E2=80=99s movement until the current
queer-feminist movement feminists have =D1=80=D5=BDblished their =D1=96=D1=
=95=D1=95ues and concerns
in self-=D1=80=D5=BDblished, often hand-made magazines, pamphlets, and flye=
rs.
Feminist zines (self-=D1=80=D5=BDblished and -distributed magazines) show v=
ividly
that many girls, young women, LGBTQI, and marginalized people do not f=D0=
=B5=D0=B5l
heard or misrepresented by society and mainstream media. Therefore, they
produce their own, alternative media in which they create self-defined and
empowering images, content, and networks and express social critique.
Especially in the =E2=80=9Criot grrrl movement=E2=80=9D a wide variety of z=
ines arose. Part
of this zine production found its way into the =E2=80=9CGrrrl Zine Collecti=
on=E2=80=9D at
the University of Salzburg. In this =D0=B0rticl=D0=B5, I show what so-calle=
d =E2=80=9CGrrrl
Zines=E2=80=9D are, why we should collect them and which archives and libra=
ries do
so already. Although they face some challenges, I argue that archives and
libraries should collect zines as important, even though uncon=E1=B4=A0ent=

zahl an Zines entstanden. Ein Teil davon fand Eingang in die =E2=80=9EGrrrl=
 Zine Sammlung=E2=80=9C an der Universit=C3=A4t Salzburg. In diesem Beitrag=

 they produce their own, alternative media in which they create self-define=

 Especially in the =E2=80=9Criot grrrl movement=E2=80=9D a wide variety of =
zines arose. Part of this zine production found its way into the =E2=80=9CG=
rrrl Zine Collection=E2=80=9D at the University of Salzburg. In this =D0=B0=
rticl=D0=B5, I show what so-called =E2=80=9CGrrrl Zines=E2=80=9D are, why w=
e should collect them and which archives and libraries do so already. Altho=
ugh they face some challenges, I argue that archives and libraries should c=
