I'm happy to host and pay for it if we go that route, but don't know
anything about the technical end.

No worries on the toe stepping. It's becoming increasingly difficult for
me to efficiently find the info needed to maintain the site and Jerianne
has no time.
Not sure if you did a lookup but it is currently hosted at Hurricane
Electric. The original owner of undergroundpress.org hosted that site
there and so Jerrianne put it there. I would probably leave it there.
Good people and the tech support is actually great. They've been around
long enough they have the domain he.net, if that says anything.
This should be everything you need to know to admin the site. The info at
the top are items I put there at some point, likely at the last update of
the server. The latter info is from thje initial email sent from he.net.
If you need anythign else I might have and forgot, feel free to email and
I'll try to get if for you.

step on any toes, and asking for admin privileges is a bit odd, but we're
not sure what else to do.

Well, if they are giving someone access to the server to get it fixed
and running well, the prudent course would probably be to get it running
where it's currently at. Then back up all the data. And then weigh
hosting it somewhere else in the future. Glad this is moving ahead,
thanks so much Milo for pushing it. My low level of bugging Jerianne

No worries on the toe stepping. It's becoming increasingly
difficult for me to efficiently find the info needed to maintain
the site and Jerianne has no time.
Not sure if you did a lookup but it is currently hosted at
Hurricane Electric. The original owner of undergroundpress.org
<http://undergroundpress.org> hosted that site there and so
Jerrianne put it there. I would probably leave it there. Good
people and the tech support is actually great. They've been
around long enough they have the domain he.net <http://he.net>,
if that says anything.
This should be everything you need to know to admin the site.
The info at the top are items I put there at some point, likely
at the last update of the server. The latter info is from thje
initial email sent from he.net <http://he.net>.
If you need anythign else I might have and forgot, feel free to
email and I'll try to get if for you.

After almost 24 months of teeth-gnashing, plotting,
metadata-schema'ing, and general friendly cat herding we're

1) A definitive source of info for the union catalog
2) Quite possibly the union catalog itself with a bit of work.

like ZineWiki needs some help, and we're willing to take

repairs as it's throwing "Error: 145 Table
'./vyvyan/zinewiki_searchindex' is marked as crashed and
should be repaired (localhost)" whenever anyone tries to add
a new page.
In order for this to happen, we would either:
1) need root or admin access on the server for it's web
directory and MySQL instance in order to repair the tables
and run updates and make backups OR
2) Have you run the repairs, updates and make backups and
then share them with us.
We've been working with Dan Halligan, who has offered server
space to host ZineWiki going forward, and also have the
ability to host it with the zinelibraries.info
<http://zinelibraries.info> site or at QZAP's host as well.
I feel like this is a bit of a hard ask, as we certainly
don't want to step on any toes, and asking for admin
privileges is a bit odd, but we're not sure what else to do.
