We talked about potentially having a meet-up in Gainesville, FL following
ALA (perks: it's cheap here, I live here, proximity to CMC
https://www.civicmediacenter.org/ and Univ. of Florida (Haven Hawley,
Chair of Special Collections, loves zines and loves our project).
Well, I just learned that the city provides grants to support conferences:

...Should I/we put something together? A Zine Metadata Bonanza? Access to
Alternative Publications?

I'm all for it, as long as it's closer to the end of the regular conference
than Mashcat was.
Words and phrases that need to go in the application: linked open data,
metadata, metadata schema, and Go Gators.

I'll have to skip this one, since I'm blowing all my cash to come back to
Boston for the ZLuC. Hopefully there will be a debrief/continuation of the
discussion there!
