Dearests!
My professor is encouraging my group to apply for an NEH Advancement Grant
https://www.neh.gov/grants/odh/digital-humanities-advancement-grants, due
on June 6. My classmates and I would submit it as our final paper (possibly
along with a ZUC Zine, obviously). Although it would be a class project, I
imagine it being generated with as much input from this group as
participants are willing to give, a la the NEH Planning Grant
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2B3TvzFT1f8c3pzT0ROR3J2R00Jennifer
coordinated until a bad thing happened. In fact, we would borrow heavily
from the UT's NEH HCRR application.
I know it's been a little weird having strangers working on the ZUC, but my
assumption is that this grant, while administered via my program, would
belong to this group again, probably even paying the most active
participants.

Jenna,
I am in favor of ZUC becoming a thing! We had so much momentum before the bad thing and I am so delighted that y'all grabbed that baton and kept us in the race. Let me know how I can help.

Thanks for your continued support, Jennifer. I'm gaining appreciation for
you putting that HCRR grant together. Yowza!
Also, just so folks know what my class project is doing, it's really not
much. Our minimum goal is to have records from two zine libraries with four
of the ZC fields represented. Even that is somehow super hard because our
group doesn't have a developer in it.

I will begin hounding y'all for help sooon! But since lots of folks worked
their bottoms off the first time, most of the work will be updating letters
of commitment and support and repositioning the grant as Advancement
instead of Planning.
Kisses everyone!
