Greetings & Salutations, ZineCatz:
I am planning to submit a proposal
https://www.arlisna.org/news/call-for-proposals-arlisna-2023-conference-mexico-city-mexico
for a paper session on ZineCat at next year's Art Librarians Conference (
ARLIS/NA https://www.arlisna.org/events/2023-annual-conference-) to be
held in Mexico City, April 18-21. I am wondering if anyone is interested
in co-authoring/presenting with me? To be fully transparent, sadly, there
is no presenter discount and travel/lodging needs to be covered too. If
you are a member of ARLIS, there's a registration discount, though. I
realize this may be an impediment to participation, but I am open to
collaborating in any and all ways whether it means formally presenting at
a conference or co-authoring a paper/article to be published elsewhere.
I'd love everyone's input on the paper proposal
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FPDVAZFOuLV8q8Z7UdtJxk48f0YGuxrKnHmc_Vxtq_o/edit?usp=sharing
(borrowing heavily from a proposal Jenna and I just submitted for ACRL 2023
in Pittsburgh) and any suggestions for making connections with zinesters in
Mexico City or beyond! Also open to any general feedback on where/how you
think ZineCat should be shared with the library community and beyond!
Thanks for considering! The proposal is due August 12, but I'd like to
have it submitted by the end of July, so if you're interested, please let
me know by July 15.
Please take care and be well,
Lauren
