grant. Show us the money!

I'm going to derive a shit-ton of the grant text from Jennifer's grant
application, but we'll need to update some of the materials. That includes
getting new letters of commitment from everyone, updated CVs, and bios. For
some reason this grant calls for bios, rather than CVs, but I figure we'll
give them both, for extra fun.

Agreed!

I'm totally down to participate, but understand if it's better for me to
make room for someone else. I can see if any of the Sherwood Forest
(barefoot) Zine Librarians is interested. I'm also happy to recruit &
supervise a student from our Information School (and can get a letter from
them), if that's still part of the plan. So yeah, what is the plan? The
same as the grant I drafted, or did y'all figure out a new scheme?

All the UT folks can be removed (they were either admin, or IT). The new
art librarian there, Becca Pad, is into zines (she's maintaining the
collections there & is on the team organizing Lone Star Zine Fest with me),
but I think the administration have made themselves clear :(

You can copy bio formats from speakers on conference websites and marketing
materials. I'll put on my old PR/marketing hat for a general formula:

It usually starts out as: Name is the Title at Institution. Provide
something about how long you've been at the institution, what your main
focus of work is on. List some committees/work groups you have worked on, a
key paper you've written/presentation topics you give a lot on, and end on
academic area of focus/interest. Probably add an ending sentence about the
importance of your work/zines have in the broader context of
interoperability/diversity/inclusion/library landscape, etc. blahblahblah
