Hi,
I couldn’t figure out how to sign up for the email list. After many, many years since Aboveboard Zine Library was shut down in New Orleans by cops. A new home has been found, and it’s great compared to the one it reopened for a year that I had nothing to do with, besides seeing it. I have been making almost daily trips to the space which is 25 miles round trip. I started removing the over 20-year-old labels I wrote and it’s a slow process rewriting labels. It’s important to have labels on the zines because it makes it easier to see the title of the zine. The zine library is an anarchist library also of periodicals in the thousands. People that been keeping Iron Rail bookstore alive the last few years have been great to work with besides other times after it was shut down. Here are some pictures of the space and flyers. If you're interested in donating zines to the zine library since it's somewhat dated? Robb Aboveground // 2100 Sawmill Road Apt. 22-202 // New Orleans, LA 70123
PS: I went to a few of your zine library gatherings at ALA when the zine library was around. I think Portland and Chicago.
Thank you,
Robb
