My top-level categories are: Anthologies Art Comics Fanzines Games Infozines Literature and Perzines Everything I collect fits in one of those groups. I could put comics under art and games under infozines, but my reasoning is that the format of comics is very distinct from general art, and the subject of games is a very specific form of information. Everything gets general subject tags, (race, social justice, cooking, etc.) and if I have maybe an anthology of personal stories, it's anthology first, perzine second, and general subjects after. We apply genres/forms from various thesauri to cover things like comics, activity books, fortune tellers but zine specifics we use: Zines (lcgft) Perzines (local) Digital zines (local) Zines about zines (local) I would also like to introduce: Compzines And following this thread, maybe introduce Infozines! I tend to just add an additional Instructional and educational works (lcgft).
