Hi ZLuC-ers! Buttons for ZLuC 2024 have been ordered (thanks, Jenna!), featuring a design by me (thanks, me!). When the materials arrive, we'll need help pressing them. In the May 13 all-volunteer meeting, we had a couple people wanting to help (Holly W. and Anna G.), but we're putting the call out via this email list to see if additional people--especially those local to NYC--can press buttons for ZLuC 2024. Important correction: STICKERS have been ordered for ZLuC 2024. As far as buttons, I received a question about their size. According to Jenna, "Buttons can be whatever size people have supplies for." Great! So far, we've got four volunteers: A'misa: "I have a 1in and 2.25in press and if you share the design, I can help press some!" Anna: "I have blanks for 1.5 inch, but I can make them from any circular image." Joshua: "We have a 1.25 in. button maker at our house. I can make some buttons that size." Jenn: "Depending on the date and time, I'm happy to volunteer. I live on Staten Island and can commute." Jenna, what are next steps for this beautiful bunch of button-makers?
