She send a follow up email with more context of the visit: Thank you for your time on the phone just now. To summarize: I am a teacher at Arlington School, a therapeutic high school in Belmont, Massachusetts. During the summer, the school is open, and I will be co-teaching a small class (approximately 5 students) for students interested in zines, handmade books, and creative writing. As part of the summer program, we try to take the students on field trips into the community. Libraries are always great places to visit! For this course, I am looking for the right library so that they can see some relevant resources, including zines and/or handmade books. Our summer program runs from July 6 through July 29. School is open between 8:30 and 3 pm. So, depending on transportation time, we would need to schedule the visit between approximately 9:30 am and 2 pm. I didn’t know if folks did programs with zines or for teens during the summer for a visiting class. If you’re interested, I’m happy to do email introductions. I figured I’ll ask this group! I’m going to see if we can get the students into the SMFA, she really wants the students to have different experiences, which I appreciate. Hope folks are well!
