Hi Friends! We are happy to share that this past weekend Jenna, Eric, and I met with Cassandra Hradil, who will be offering her skills as a developer over the next couple of months (thanks to the financial support of y'all)! Some of you might be familiar with Cassandra's work from zinenet.work. We've decided that there are two primary goals for working with Cassandra: 1. design work - making the collective access data delivery pretty and visually appealing 2. development work - ingesting Anchor Archive and OCADs collections & writing up some documentation to support current and future ingestion Cassandra will be working with us through May and will likely also use the Zine Union Catalog in the course she teaches at Parsons. Eric has created a sandbox environment for her to get to know the system better. We've revived our Slack channel to communicate, so if you're at all interested in being added to the channel, let me know!
