I think that's the same error it's have for months, if you search an
existing title you won't get an error. Jerriane's partner works on the
back end, but I have been having a hard time getting ahold of her. I
really need to find someone else to do the tech stuff. Here's the info
about it I put on the front page:

Getting a database error when you search for an article? There is a
problem on the back end, if an article doesn't exist, you are getting an
error instead of the prompt to start a new article. We are working on
it! In the meantime, it seems the only way to start a new article is by
creating a link to a new article title on an existing page (like your
own user discussion page) and then following that link and editing it.

Hi Dan,
Zinewiki barfed on search for me just now.  It was working this AM, so
it might just need to be kicked.

Thanks for looking into this, and for maintaining it.

It's kinda difficult to add a new page now without that search
function defaulting to it. I added the info to front page about it.
Jerianne, we definitely need to find someone to help on the database
end :)  I'll bug my tech friends. --Dan

OK, good to know. I've managed to add/edit a bunch of pages
 already, so that's something.

Crap! This is something that probably cannot be fixed today,
Jerianne's partner does the back end work on the database and
it's something we are trying to find help with.

It looks like it's giving the database error when it can't find
the zine, person, etc. instead of giving you the page where it
asks if you want to start a new article. I'll add something about
it on the main page. --Dan

     Hey Dan and Jerianne,
I'm trying to add/edit pages, and the search function is
throwing a DB error. See attached.

MediaWiki isn't really my forte, but if I can help, please
     let me know.

     Thanks!
