Zine Reading with 2025 Washington State Book Award Winner Tessa Hulls
What book made your world larger? Artists and writers don’t create in a vacuum, and our voices are shaped by all the works we’ve loved. For this event, Tessa Hulls is partnering up with the Washington Center for the Book, Washington Authors Against Book Bans, Common Area Maintenance (CAM), and Short Run to create a risograph anthology zine featuring authors and illustrators answering this question. On Feb. 19, we’ll gather at CAM for a zine reading and workshop. The reading will also be livestreamed online and a recording will be available for viewing after the event.
