Dear Zine Librarians, My name is day parker, and I'm part of a team working on *zine.cafe* <http://zine.cafe>, a digital platform designed to support young folx in creating, sharing, and learning through zines. This project was conceived through the *optiMize Social Innovation Challenge <https://www.optimizemi.org/projects>* and we’re thrilled to be finalists in the* Learning Levers Prize <https://marsal.umich.edu/learning-levers>*, which supports innovative tools for education. We’re also excited to be collaborating with the *Anti-Racist Digital Research Institute <https://www.lib.umich.edu/research-and-scholarship/awards-and-grants/anti-racist-digital-research-institute>* over the summer to ensure Zine.cafe is grounded in justice-oriented, accessible learning. As we develop the platform, we want to make sure that this resource and tool truly serves the needs of its users. We put together a brief survey to gather insights on how you engage with zines in education and community spaces. Your feedback will directly shape our features and directions.
