Hi all,
The final version of my Social Justice Through Zines (LIB 389 / WGS 389) syllabus is attached, along with a minizine version. Much thanks to everyone whose ideas and work supported my thinking about this class. I cited many of you on the first page of the syllabus.

Hi everyone,Here's a syllabus I did for a class about zines I taught last year at University of Houston in the Photo & Digital Media Department. I kind of pieced this together from other examples I've seen over the years.

Thank you, Stacy!
Anyone else mildly obsessed with each school's mandatory syllabus content
and the different regulations per institution? I need someone to turn all
that stuff into a minicomic!

YES! My mind is a muddle right now. Not sure if I opined/whined here about
the mandatory syllabus content and format.
But I would love to see your syllabus, Julie, or anyone's involving zines.
I borrowed heavily a zine assignment created by the amazing Jason Luther
for my Trauma Informed Librarianship course. Happy to share the syllabus if
anyone is interested or curious. It's in the very unfun UWM and my school's
syllabus formatting requirements and other guidelines.

Right now, I'm mostly interested in the readings. Since I'm not faculty, I
need a department to know I'm Serious enough to be allowed to teach.
It's great to see the range of materials--including lots of videos from
Stacy. In my pre-college class I used Piepmeier, Nguyen, and Eichhorn, in
addition to a lot of zines, which I see are a big part of Julie's syllabus.
Does anyone have a favorite Licona reading?
